The Funds Development Committee is excited to share this announcement and opportunity to support eurythmy classes at EWS!
A very generous donor has stepped forward with an offer to match up to $1,500 of donations toward the eurythmy program at EWS! To meet this opportunity, we are collecting donations through May 1, 2025.
Eurythmy deepens the process of learning through engaging the whole body in meaningful movement and supports the child in each stage of development as the class moves together in harmony. It is a special subject taught by a trained eurythmy teacher and each lesson is accompanied by a pianist who plays live music for the children.
Since EWS opened almost 45 years ago, the eurythmy program has played a vital role in our school's community. This is a wonderful opportunity to participate in symbiotic giving and to help revitalize and support a cherished program that significantly benefits our students.
Please remember that no donation is too small and every donation counts. Thanks to this matching gift, your donation will go twice as far! Every dollar you give will be matched dollar-for-dollar until we reach $1,500—doubling your impact to support eurythmy at EWS! With your help we can reach the goal to have a thriving eurythmy program again.
Now through May 1st all donations to our annual fund will be matched up to $1,000 thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor! Every donation brings us closer to our 50k goal for the 2024-25 Annual Giving Campaign.
The Annual Giving campaign is the most important fundraiser of the school year- a chance for our entire community to come together and support the school we cherish. It helps bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the true cost of providing a rich Waldorf education, which includes faculty and staff salaries, professional development, tuition assistance, and facilities maintenance and improvements. An unrestricted contribution is the most powerful way to sustain and strengthen our school, ensuring that we can continue to nurture the heart of Waldorf education for generations to come.
EWS is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and will gratefully provide a receipt for your tax-deductible donation.

Yes. Eugene Waldorf School is an independent not for profit school. All gifts are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged by the school with a letter that verifies your contribution. To make arrangements for stock transfers or gifts in other forms, please contact development@eugenewaldorf.org.

Tuition covers about 90% of our annual expenses. Raising tuition to cover all operating expenses would require a drastic increase of annual tuition, which would make our school out of reach for many families. Eugene Waldorf School strives to stay as accessible as possible so a wide range of families can attend.
